Please follow the link to access our holiday lists for present and future
You will be able to chose only the holidays which have been approved by our governors.
If you click on the 'schools calendar' tab on the side menu of the LCC website you will then be able to view the proposed future holiday dates. Please note that the heading will say the proposed dates are for Community and Controlled school but this is the list that governors will base our holidays on. We cannot guarantee that the dates will not change and this is a guide only. They will be determined at the end of each November.
Absence Request
Please note that it is no longer possible to download the Absence Request Form.
Leave in term time is not a ‘right’. Absence from school can have a serious impact on your child’s education. The only way to request an absence is to speak to the Headteacher who will personally provide you with a form. All requests for leave in term time must be made in advance of confirming any arrangements and may be granted at the Headteacher's discretion dependant on the circumstances.
Changes to the Regulations mean that schools can only authorise leave in term time if the circumstances surrounding the request are considered to be exceptional.
Low Attendance
If the attendance of your child is low, you will be contacted and asked to meet with the headteacher. to see how this can be improved. Support will be offered to both parents and pupils as required. If concerns remain, school may have to consider referral to external agencies, such as the Local Authority Pupil Attendance Support Team.
The use of Penalty Notices may also be considered under certain circumstances, including where leave is taken without agreement.
