Lesson 5:

The aims of this lesson are to;

• To understand the importance of commenting on blogs.

• To peer-assess blogs against the agreed success criteria.

In this lesson I want you to firstly think back to the first session, where you created collaborative success criteria on 2Write for writing a blog page and a blog post. We will use these success criteria to complete a peer assessment of each other’s posts on the class’s shared blogs.

I would like you to go back to the Sharing icon and our shared blogs and look at the comments on the blog posts, once you see someone else's comment I want you to assess whether it is suitable or not. Please give reasons why you think it and if you don't agree what steps can be made to improve it.

For example, I have commented on Maisey's blog (picture below) can you tell me if my comment is acceptable or not and the reasons why. How is it similar or different to Scarlett's post? Which one is better?

I would like you to find at least 2 comments that you can tell me if you agree or disagree with.
